Mantie purtată de George Calboreanu în spectacolul „Apus de soare”, rolul Ștefan cel Mare, cu premiera 21 decembrie 1973.
Este o mantie din catifea groasă de culoare verde cu contexturi ornamentale florale executate cu mătase de culoare galbenă, motiv care se repetă pe toată suprafața. Este la baza gâtului, deschisă până jos, cu mâneci largi, ornamentată cu un guler foarte lat ce continuă deschiderea de la piept până la poale ornament din blană care continuă și pe mâneci. Ornamentul este din blană albă pe toată suprafața de blană din loc în loc apar puncte negre ce imită hermina. Este dublată cu pânză din bumbac violet.
Starea de conservare este deteriorată: culorile materialului textil sunt virate spre brun pe zone extinse și prezintă eroziunui. Pe margini se pot observa urme ale unor benzi de blană care în momentul de față lipsesc. Căptușeala este și ea virată cromatic, parțial oxidată, cu lacune de dimensiuni medii, descusută la mâneci și in zona gâtului.

Cloak worn by George Calboreanu (1896-1986) in Apus de Soare, 1956
This mantle was worn by George Calboreanu in the play „Sunset” („Apus de soare”). He played the role of Stephen the Great, and the play premiered on December 21, 1973.
The mantle is made of thick green velvet with yellow silk floral ornamental patterns. The pattern is repeated throughout the surface. It is open from the neck down to the bottom and has wide sleeves. It is decorated with a very wide collar that continues from the chest opening to the hem with a fur ornament that also continues on the sleeves. The ornament is made of white fur with black dots imitating ermine. The mantle is lined with purple cotton fabric.
Condition:
The condition of the mantle is deteriorated: the colors of the textile material have turned brown on large areas and show erosion. Traces of fur bands that are now missing can be observed on the edges. The lining is also discolored, partially oxidized, with medium-sized gaps, unstitched at the sleeves and neck area.
