În 1959, la TNB, are loc premiera spectacolului „Cidul”, în traducerea lui Șt. O. Iosif, în regia lui Mihai Berechet, care semnează și costumele, scenograf decor fiind Gheorghe Bedros. Pentru rolul Don Fernando, interpretat de George Storin, s-a păstrat costumul alcătuit din bluză de bumbac și pelerină de catifea roșie.
Costumul ca întreg este propus pentru clasare și punere în valoare pentru expunere, iar pentru restaurare și conservare se propune doar bluza. Bluza, cu aplicaţii de dantelă neagră și pieptul căptușit cu vatelină, este ornamentată cu crenguțe din fir metalic auriu și are deschidere cu nasturi pe spate.

Starea de conservare este aproximativ bună: materialul textil al bluzei, inițial de culoare albă, este virat spre un ton mai închis, ușor gălbui. În zona gulerului se pot observa pete de dimensiuni mici și medii de culoare brună atât pe față cât și pe spate.

The play „The Cid” (Romanian: „Cidul”) premiered at the National Theatre in Bucharest (TNB) in 1959. The translation was by Șt. O. Iosif, the director was Mihai Berechet, who also designed the costumes, and the set designer was Gheorghe Bedros.
The costume for the role of Don Fernando, played by George Storin, has been preserved. It consists of a cotton blouse and a red velvet cloak. The costume as a whole is proposed for classification and valorization for exhibition, and only the blouse is proposed for restoration and conservation.
The blouse is decorated with black lace appliques and has a chest padded with wadding. It is also ornamented with golden metallic thread twigs and has a back button opening.
Condition:
The condition of the costume is approximately good: the textile material of the blouse, initially white, has turned to a darker, slightly yellowish tone. Small and medium brown spots can be observed on the collar area, both on the front and back.
