Brevet prin care Regele Ferdinand I acordă medalia „Bene Merenti”, clasa I, actorului George Storin, 23 ianuarie 1923

Document oficial pe suport papetar, tipărit și completat manual, cu semnătura Regelui Ferdinand care datează din 1923. Diploma are valoarea biografică pentru actorul George Storin (1883, București – 1968, București), pe numele adevărat Hagi Stoica. Îndemnat de o rudă să urmeze conservatorul, George Storin începe să studieze cu Petre Liciu care, văzând că are aptitudini, îl recomandă pentru a fi înscris direct în anul 2. După absolvirea conservatorului, în 1904, își face debutul la Teatrul Național în piesa „Stingerea” sub direcția lui Alexandru Davila. Realizează mari roluri pe scena naționalului bucureștean, devine coasociat al companiei Bulandra, joacă în două filme. Meritele sale sunt răsplătite cu diverse onoruri, în colecția muzeului găsindu-se cinci diplome – semnate de Carol, Ferdinand și Mihai I.

Stare de conservare: suport ușor fragilizat și deformat în zonele marginale, cu mici halouri cauzate de umiditate și ușoare pigmentări cauzate de atac biologic din trecut. Prezintă de asemenea depuneri slab aderente și aderente

  • Diploma has biographical value for the actor George Storin (1883, Bucharest – 1968, Bucharest), whose real name was Hagi Stoica.
  • Encouraged by a relative to attend the Conservatory, George Storin began studying with Petre Liciu who, seeing that he had talent, recommended him to be enrolled directly in the second year.
  • After graduating from the Conservatory in 1904, he made his debut at the National Theater in the play „Stingerea” under the direction of Alexandru Davila.
  • He played major roles on the stage of the National Theater in Bucharest, became an associate of the Bulandra company, and acted in two films.
  • His merits were rewarded with various honors, and the museum’s collection includes five diplomas – signed by Carol, Ferdinand and Mihai I.
  • Condition:
    • Slightly fragile and deformed in the marginal areas
    • Small halos caused by humidity and slight pigmentation caused by a past biological attack
    • Also presents weakly and strongly adherent deposits
